I've been working on UFO's for the last couple of months. It really feels good to finish things some of which have been sitting around for 2 or 3 years. This morning I completed the piecing of all the blocks for a sqaure in a square that has been cut out and sitting around for 3 years.
Here are some of the blocks. I already know how I'll quilt it so this one doesn't have the stress for me that they usually do.
Hopefully I'll be blogging more often. I'll blog this one when it's quilted.

September Gothamettes Design Team Card
Marty's sketch:
My interpretation:
Making Septembers entry to http://gothamcitystampers.com/2011/09/martys-masterpiece-september-creations/2010-cards-014/ was very emotional for me. The photo I used is of our cat Velcro drinking from our pool. In June we had to have Velcro put to sleep because of illness. She was only eight years old and we really miss her. I used Stampin Up card stock, and handmade flower that I won in a blog hop. I’m sorry to say with my lousy memory for names I can’t remember who made it. I added a small rose in the center from a Swirlydoos Club Kit . The ribbon is from Michael’s and the rhinestones are Kaiserscrapbook. Last, I distressed the edges with Coffee Archival Ink.
